Acquaint from National Office Furniture offers the lounge look and feel in a guest chair footprint. The hybrid lounge, guest chair features a wall-saver design, bariatric models, six different back styles, and contrasting fabric options providing numerous design choices. Available in nine finishes as well as Designer White and Cinder paints, Acquaint, features Antimicrobial Silver Ion Protection which inhibits the growth and spread of harmful stain and odor causing bacteria. Acquaint earns level 1 and SCS Indoor Advantage certifications and is available with FSC-certified wood which can contribute to LEED points.
Glass tile wall covering
Dreamwalls Color Glass by Gardner Glass Products has introduced a line of glass tiles. Dreamwalls Color Glass tiles are available in various sizes from 4″ x 4″ to 24″ x 24″ and can be specified in rectangular sizes as well. Dreamwalls Color Glass tiles are completely opaque and feature a flat polished and arras edge. The tiles can be used in a variety of applications including backsplashes, bathroom walls, shower and tub surrounds. The tiles have hygienic properties and moisture resistance. Dreamwall Color Glass tiles are made in the USA.
Modular seating
Circa from Coalesse is modular seating with standard wood legs in walnut or maple. The collection features coordinating modular tables with storage, benches, and freestanding round tables. The customized fabrics for any of the upholstery makes Circa a suitable choice for a healthcare environment. Selections can made for a more breathable, hypo-allergenic fabric to use in waiting rooms, lobbies, and lounges.
Healthcare furniture
Campbell Contract introduces The Paramount Collection from furniture designer Ken Reinhard. Paramount is a collection of tandem seating, lounge seating, and occasional tables. Individual components can be combined to create many configurations. All are standard with a wall-saver design and pass-through. Optional wood trim arms can be specified. Freestanding tables include an end table with a built-shelf and a coffee table. Available in any of ten standard finishes, all exposed wood is maple.
Mental health seating collection
Spec Furniture introduces Dignity, a mental health seating collection. The collection was created to meet the needs of specific mental health environments. The Dignity Series features a single, two and three-seat offering, including a bariatric design which can withstand up to 750lbs. A matching family of Dignity Lounge tables completes the line. Product features include tamperproof fasteners, additional weight to discourage movement, and a fully molded polyurethane arm, which is warm to the touch. Side panels can be specified in laminate to enhance cleaning, or in various fabric selections.
Tandem seating
Studio Q Furniture expands its Healthscapes offering of seating solutions for healthcare environments with VIRTUE. Designed by Michael Shields, VIRTUE is a fifty-eight piece healthcare collection that includes guest, tandem, bariatric seating and benches, as well as lounge seating, occasional tables, patient seating, recliners and sleep chairs. It offers a variety of arm selections. VIRTUE is available in maple or oak with a Q Guard antimicrobial protective finish. Choose from sixteen standard wood finishes with custom finish matching available.
Recliner seating
KI's new Soltice II Recliner is a seating solution designed by Daniel Cramer and Paul James. The Soltice II Recliner coordinates with a broad collection of other Soltice products and uses KI's palette of wood finishes and upholstery options. It has central-locking casters with 360-degree rotation and is has a recline-release feature which is fingertip-activated. With a full range of options, including a tablet arm, IV pole, catheter hook, and magazine pouch, the Soltice II Recliner suits the needs of various care centers within a healthcare facility. Its can accommodate all body types up to 750lbs. The Soltice II Recliner also features sustainable attributes and has received GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality Certification for low emitting products by the GREENGUARD Environmental Institute.
Bariatric seating
Sharing the same design as the Chance side chair, Chance Bariatric from Arcadia/Encore features an enhanced seat and back size, and reinforced steel frame that accommodates up to 500lbs. A suitable choice for guest seating, its architectural frame is also applicable to hospital waiting rooms, private doctors’ offices, health spa lounges, and other reception areas. The Chance Bariatric chair is designed by Francisco Romero of Phidesign.
Spill-resistant furniture
Slobproof! with Crypton Fabrics is spill-, moisture-, bacteria-, and odor-resistant. All Slobproof! seating is made in the USA, is certified SCS Indoor Advantage Gold, and complies with Section 01350 California standards. Slobproof offers a five-year warranty on the moisture barrier. Frames are Sustainable Forest Initiative (SFI) approved.
Steel-framed garden bench
