BayCare Health System (Clearwater, Fla.) has topped out the new BayCare Hospital Manatee in Palmetto, Fla., with the placement of the final vertical steel support beam, according to a news release.
The 436,000-square-foot project comprises a full-service acute care hospital with 154 private patient rooms and the capacity to expand to 207 beds.
Planned services include emergency care, general and specialty surgery, cardiology, gastroenterology, orthopedics, imaging, and obstetrics.
Robins & Morton (Orlando, Fla.) is serving as the construction firm on the project, which is expected to be completed in 2028.
