The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID; Washington, D.C.) has named Gary Wheeler as CEO and Susan Chung to vice president, research and knowledge.

Wheeler previously was appointed as interim CEO and has more than 40 years of industry experience.

A longtime ASID staff member, Chung’s work focuses on improving human experiences in the interior environment and translating research into applicable design implications.
