HCD Virtual Kicks Off Nov. 9
HCD Virtual, the digitally reimagined version of the annual Healthcare Design (HCD) Expo + Conference, begins on Monday, Nov. 9.
Curated by Healthcare Design magazine and drawing from the educational content previously selected for the canceled 2020 HCD Expo, this event will feature panel sessions, three keynotes, and several learning opportunities hosted by industry partners. It will run Nov. 9-12, with sessions recorded and available on demand through the end of the year.
For a detailed guide on how best to experience the event, check out Healthcare Design’s November 2020 issue, which includes HCD Virtual preview coverage and the official show guide.
Highlights of HCD Virtual include opening keynote panel “State of the Industry: Healthcare Facilities Now and Post-Pandemic” moderated by Editor-in-Chief Jennifer Kovacs Silvis and the finale of HCD‘s conceptual design competition, Breaking Through, during which attendees will vote for the $10,000 grand prize winner (attendees must be present during the live session to vote). Following both of these keynotes, attendees will have the opportunity to meet with presenters in a Zoom meeting to ask questions and continue the conversation.
An additional chance to engage with fellow attendees and speakers can be found in the HCD Virtual Forums, where the audience is encouraged to exchange thoughts and ideas on topics top-of-mind for the industry today (once registered, forums can be located in your attendee dashboard).
HCD Virtual is produced in association with The Center for Health Design, the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the Academy of Architecture for Health, the American Academy of Healthcare Interior Designers, the Association of Medical Facility Professionals, the International Interior Design Association (IIDA), the Nursing Institute for Healthcare Design, the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), and the Institute for Patient-Centered Design.
