Baptist Medical Center (Jacksonville, Fla.) is planning a new $17 million heart rhythm center that will be part of the medical center’s freestanding heart hospital in Jacksonville, according to an article in Becker’s Hospital Review.

The 14,400-square-foot facility will include three cardiac electrophysiology labs, 10 patient rooms, a family lounge, and staff  and support stations.

Construction is expected to start in October and is slated for completion in January 2023.
