BayCare’s (Tampa, Fla.) Mease Countryside Hospital (Safety Harbor, Fla.) is readying to open a new four-story patient tower in Safety Harbor, according to an article in tampabay.com.

Part of a $156-million expansion and renovation project, the 150,000 square-foot Bilheimer Tower houses 100 private patient beds (increasing the hospital’s overall bed count to 387), an observation unit for emergency room patients, rehab gymnasium, and critical care unit.

A four-story parking garage and elevated pedestrian walkway are also part of the expansion project.
