The ProHealth Care campus in Mukwonago, Wis., opened its lobby last week as construction work continued on the city’s first hospital. Expected to open in June 2020, the hospital has a glass façade that showcases the three-story structure’s emphasis on natural light.

Inside the new entrance will be a reception desk and the hospital’s main corridor, which will connect people to first floor services including primary care, lab, radiology, women’s health, heart and vascular services, and the emergency department.

The Mukwonago hospital will feature:
• 24 private inpatient rooms;
• surgery center;
• cancer center;
• expanded and enhanced laboratory, imaging, and registration areas;
• a full-service kitchen and dining area; and
• enhanced outpatient services.

The ProHealth Medical Group clinic and all other medical services on the campus remain open during construction, and surface parking has been expanded to make access easier for patients and visitors.
