Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford recently celebrated the grand opening of its new expansion in Palo Alto, Calif.

The 521,000-square-foot Packard Children’s Hospital expansion more than doubles the size of the existing campus by linking the original hospital with a new main building, bringing the total hospital space to 844,000 square feet. The new building adds 149 patient beds for a total of 361

Features include spacious private patient rooms with sleeping accommodations for two family members, a large digital interactive wall, a dedicated broadcast studio, 3.5 acres of gardens and green spaces.
