Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine (Athens, Ohio) has selected the project team to build a $66.9 million translational research facility project on campus.

Located near the college’s medical school, the facility will house faculty and student translational research and will be the new home of the college’s community health programs.

The project team includes architectural firms DesignGroup (Columbus, Ohio) and Perkins&Will (Chicago) and construction manager Gilbane (Chicago).

Construction on the new facility is scheduled to start in mid-2024 with completion expected in 2025.
