The Ascension Seton healthcare provider recently opened its Bastrop “neighborhood hospital,” a $30 million medical campus that will serve the area of Bastrop County, Texas.

As reported in the Statesman, the two-story, 40,000-square-foot facility includes an emergency room, imaging services, 14 inpatient beds, two minor procedure rooms, and medical office spaces that will offer patients primary and specialty care services, including cardiac rehabilitation, maternal fetal medicine, and family medicine.

Reporter Brandon Mulder writes: “A women’s diagnostic imaging service is currently available in the facility, and mammogram and bone density scanning will become available in spring 2020, along with outpatient radiology services that will continue to be provided in the meantime at Seton’s Smithville location and at the Seton Diagnostic Center in Bastrop…A 24-hour medical lab will also be on-site.”
