Arlen Li, AIA, LEED BD+C, has joined Wilson HGA as associate vice president, senior architect, and science planner in the Boston office. He brings expertise on science building design to augment the firm’s national Science and Technology practice.

Li has more than 35 years of experience directing the planning and design of cutting-edge research facilities and academic teaching buildings for higher education, corporate, public, and medical institutions. He additionally has
directed feasibility studies, from short-term implementation plans to large-scale strategic visioning documents.

Before joining Wilson HGA, Li was director of lab planning with Payette Associates in Boston. He additionally co-founded the firm’s original Sustainable Design Group.
