Healthcare Design is pleased to announce the winners of its 11th annual Healthcare Design Product Innovation Awards. This program recognizes product manufacturers offering the most innovative and unique products used in the design of healthcare environments.
31 presentations were submitted for review and evaluated by a panel of 17 jurors, including architects, interior designers, providers, and consultants from HCD’s Editorial Advisory Board. Jury evaluation focused on innovation and contribution to the design of the healthcare environment—including enhanced safety, improved patient comfort, reduced installation/maintenance costs, environmental sustainability, and/or products that solve a specific challenge in a way that is innovative and valuable. They also considered aesthetics, style, and functionality. The highest scoring products in the jury review were selected as our winners.
This year’s three winners are:
GOLD: COVE™ (DIRTT)
SILVER: Liberty Switches (Visa Lighting)
BRONZE: Levo Reduced-Ligature Recliner (Pineapple)
There were also five finalists that the jury felt contributed at a high level:
• Access High-Low PLUS Power Exam Table (Brewer Company)
• AMY™ Privacy Curtain (Standard Textile)
• SERENITY Wellness Panel (Kingsway Group)
• Solar Shades with Newton High-Speed Lite-Lift® Technology (Standard Textile and Altex)
• Tekloom® Fabric (Tekloom®)
