Kettering Health Plans To Renovate Greene Memorial Hospital In Xenia, Ohio

Plans are underway for hospital upgrades and a new 24,000-square-foot outpatient care center.

Nonprofit health system Kettering Health (Kettering, Ohio) is withdrawing plans to replace Kettering Health Greene Memorial hospital in Xenia, Ohio, according to the Dayton Daily News. Instead, the system plans to invest $10 million to renovate and modernize the hospital.

As part of the project, Kettering Health is seeking approval from the city of Xenia to build a $26 million outpatient health center.

The 24,000-square-foot health center will offer primary care, on-demand walk-in care, lab services and imaging.

Greene Memorial will continue to offer 24/7 emergency and inpatient care.
