Sarasota Memorial Health Care System Plans New Rehab Pavilion In Venice, Florida

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System (Sarasota, Fla.) plans to build a new Rehabilitation Pavilion at the Sarasota Memorial Hospital-Venice campus in Venice, Fla., according to baynews9.com.

The $82.5 million project will comprise a new 4-story pavilion that will house 50 private inpatient suites, as well as amenities such as advanced therapy gyms, mobility-training areas, and activities of daily live environments. The pavilion will also house shell space for future growth on the fourth floor.

Construction is expected to start in 2026 on the 83,000-square-foot facility, with opening targeted for early 2028.
