SmithGroup (Ann Arbor, Mich.) has appointed Vince Avallone to director of medical planning, a newly established role within the firm’s health leadership team, according to a news release.
Avallone has more than 30 years of experience as a medical planner, including the past 17 years with SmithGroup. His project work includes the UC Davis Health California Tower in Sacramento, Calif., UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital – Oakland in Oakland, Calif., acute tower replacement at Wilma Chan Highland Hospital in Oakland, Calif., and Kaiser Permanente Railyards Medical Center in Sacramento, Calif.
In his role, he’ll focus on driving innovation and growth of the medical planning tea in his new role.
