City Of Hope Orange County To Open New $452M Cancer Hospital In Irvine, California

The 6-story, 174,000-square-foot hospital is part of a 72-acre academic research campus.

City of Hope Orange County Cancer Specialty Hospital in Irvine, Calif., is set to open before the end of the year, according to The Orange County Register.

Part of a 72-acre academic research campus, the 6-story, 174,000-square-foot specialty hospital will connect to the existing Lennar Foundation Cancer Center, an outpatient facility that opened in 2022.

The project comprises 73 beds, including an eight-bed evaluation and treatment center on the first floor as well as two family suites. Each floor will also have its own outdoor terrace.
