IU Health Set To Break Ground On New Hospital In West Lafayette, Indiana

The $214 million project will deliver 12 inpatient beds, four ORs, and an ED with a trauma care room.

Indiana University Health (IU Health; Indianapolis) is set to break ground this summer on a new hospital in West Lafayette, Ind., according to the Lafayette Journal & Courier.

The $214 million full-service hospital will comprise 12 inpatient beds, an emergency department (ED) with 14 treatment spaces and a dedicated trauma care room, four operating room (OR) suites, and an imaging department.

The hospital is expected to be completed in 2028 and is part of a three-phase project that also includes a new cancer center and medical office building (MOB).
