Encompass Health (Birmingham, Ala.) is planning a new freestanding rehabilitation hospital in Bridgeport, W.Va., according to a news release.
The project will replace a 19-bed rehabilitation unit at WVU Medicine United Hospital Center (Bridgeport, W.Va.), which recently closed.
The new facility will house 36 private inpatient beds, a therapy gym, activities of daily living suite, dialysis unit, dining room, and pharmacy. In addition, there will be an outdoor therapy courtyard.
