United Hospital Center (UHC; Bridgeport, W.Va.) has opened Mountaineer Medical Rapid Care in Bridgeport, W.Va., according to wvnews.com.
Located on the first floor of the Mountaineer Medical Building on the UHC campus, the facility comprises eight exam rooms, a streamlined check-in station, and supply area stocked with medical equipment such as crutches, braces, and splints.
Additionally, an on-site digital X-ray suite and point-of-care testing laboratory are capable of providing rapid diagnoses for illnesses and conditions including COVID-19, influenza, strep throat, mononucleosis, and urinary tract infections.
