Nonprofit healthcare organization The Queen’s Health Systems (Honolulu) is planning to develop a new hospital campus in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, according to Hawaii Public Radio.

The 32-acre project comprises an 80-bed hospital and three low-rise buildings with 150 housing units for hospital employees. According to The Queen’s Health Systems, the housing is intended to help address Hawaii’s housing shortage and high cost of living.

The hospital and housing units are expected to open within five years.
