Parkview Health (Fort Wayne, Ind.) has started construction on a new $200 million hospital in West Lafayette, Ind., according to wlfi.com.

Plans call for 40 inpatient beds and a 24/7 emergency department (ED).

The project will deliver the first full-service hospital in the city, according to the healthcare provider.

The hospital is expected to open in 2028.
