Northwestern Medicine (Chicago) is planning to build St. George Cancer Hospital in Orland Park, Ill., according to Southwest Regional Publishing.

The project comprises a new 150,000-square-foot facility offering oncology services such as immunotherapy, radiation therapy, and precision-based cancer treatments.

Planned amenities include family support spaces such as counseling rooms and quiet areas. Additionally, the facility incorporates research collaboration hubs for clinicians and scientists.

The project is under regulatory review, and construction timelines have not been finalized.
