University Of Arkansas For Medical Sciences Opens Hospital In Bryant, Arkansas

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS; Little Rock, Ark.) has opened a new hospital in Bryant, Ark., according to a news release.

Occupying the former Encore Medical Center property, the hospital houses 53 inpatient beds across 108,055 square feet. Additionally, the facility includes 18 exam rooms and a 16-bed emergency department (ED) and will offer specialty outpatient care, including bariatric and general surgery.

UAMS also plans to add four operating rooms and expand the pre- and postoperative areas.
