Southcoast Health Begins Construction On New UrgentCare Facility

Work began in May and the $600,000 project is anticipated to be complete by October.

Southcoast Health, which offers an integrated continuum of health services throughout southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island, has begun work on a new UrgentCare Facility in Farehaven, Mass.

Southcoast UrgentCare centers are equipped with staff and equipment to treat a range of medical situations. The new facility will offer examination rooms, an x-ray room, waiting area, office space and parking. Work began in May and is anticipated to be complete by October. The cost of the project is $600,000.

South Coast Improvement Company (SCI) is serving as the design-build general contractor on the project.
