HCD Rising Star Awards-Deadline extended to April 21
Launched in 2018, Healthcare Design magazine’s annual Rising Star awards program recognizes newcomers to the healthcare design field who are positioned to be the industry’s next great leaders.
Nominations for the 2025 Rising Star awards are now being accepted. Check out the submission form below. The deadline to submit a nomination has been extended to April 21, 5 p.m. PT.
Who is a Rising Star?
The Rising Star awards are open to emerging industry professionals, including architects, interior designers, engineers, construction professionals, researchers, academics, and other professionals directly involved in the design of a healthcare environments.
Individuals must have worked in healthcare design for fewer than 10 years and have a body of work over the past two years that collectively sets them apart from their peers.
Additionally, nominations will illustrate how a nominee has come to embrace healthcare as a design sector and why he or she stands to be the face of the industry in coming years.
We encourage you to nominate as many people as you like (feel free to nominate yourself!), but you must submit a separate form for each nomination. Please note that repeated nominations of the same individual will hold no more weight than single nominations.
Industry honors
The winners of the Rising Star awards are featured in an issue of Healthcare Design and are celebrated during an Awards Luncheon at the annual Healthcare Design Conference + Expo.
