Four Milwaukee Health Systems And County Partner On Mental Health Project

Milwaukee County (Milwaukee) and and the county’s four health systems, including Advocate Aurora Health (Milwaukee), Ascension Wisconsin, Children’s Wisconsin (Wauwatosa, Wis.), and Froedtert Health (Wauwatosa, Wis.), are planning a new mental health facility in Milwaukee, according to an article in the Milwaukee Independent.

The Mental Health Emergency Center will provide around-the-clock crisis, inpatient, residential, peer, and outpatient services for adults, adolescents, and children.

It is slated to open in 2022.
