Nonprofit system Catholic Health and real estate investment company Simone Healthcare Development (Bronx, N.Y.) opened a new $47 million ambulatory and urgent care center in Centereach, Long Island, N.Y.

Situated in a former retail building, the 63,000-square-foot outpatient facility includes primary care and specialty services as well as a walk-in urgent care, diagnostic imaging, pharmacy, and dedicated gastroenterology suite.

Newman Design (New York) was the architect on the project.
