Construction Survey Shows Delicate Optimism
Earlier this week, Healthcare Building Ideas reported the results of an industry-wide construction hiring and business survey conducted by the American General Contractors and Navigant, showing construction firms are considering and planning on adding to their construction staff or keeping their staff numbers as they are, instead of contemplating layoffs, despite the thought of another tough year ahead.
Although most participants felt that stimulus-funded projects would decline, healthcare and education projects are expected to increase slightly. Demand for green building is also expected to grow.
