Saint Agnes Medical Center has been an integral part of the Fresno community since 1929 and provides comprehensive healthcare of the utmost quality to San Joaquin Valley residents. On its visionary path to continue meeting community needs, Saint Agnes broke ground on a significant addition in 2002: a six-story, 230,000-sq.-ft. building now home to Saint Agnes’s Heart and Vascular Center. The new wing has increased patient capacity, with the creation of 100 private patient rooms, and houses state-of-the-art technology for heart and vascular care services.
As the interior design and furnishing dealer of choice, we partnered with the client to make the project’s aesthetic and functional goals an inviting reality. The concept was to create a fresh, organic feel that mimics the contours and hues of nature that work in union with the floor-to-ceiling windows. The color palette and finish selections are designed to refresh the senses. The neutral palette, set in touches of nature’s opulent colors, serves as a backdrop for an extensive collection of art by local artists and exudes a feeling of comfort and longevity. The featured space is a long foyer on the second floor of the building, which leads to the meeting and educational facilities that serve the valley. The gallery-like setting with comfortable lounge seating is in an area that can easily be transformed into an elegant space for community social functions. “Coming Together With Community” is reflected throughout the resplendent space.
