The new main concourse serves as a functional crossroads that will eventually connect Westchester Medical Center and the future 280,000-square-foot Ambulatory Care Pavilion currently under construction on WMCHealth’s Valhalla campus.

The new, 18,000-square-foot facility will feature full-service emergency care year-round.

The two-story, 69,000-square-foot UHS Orthopedic Center is located on the health system’s outpatient campus in Vestal, N.Y.

The new Civic Campus will deliver healthcare to Ottawa, eastern Ontario, Gatineau and western Quebec, and Nunavut.

Started in 2013, the project has added private patient rooms, doubled the capacity of the Neonatal unit and increased capacity for stroke and heart patients.

Due in part to increased demand for health care at the campus, the project has grown from $85 million to more than $110 million, expanding the hospital to more than 110 inpatient beds.

The cost projection for the integrated health campus is estimated to be $480 million for a 750,000-square-foot facility.

The 32-acre campus hosts an 81-bed hospital with operating rooms, an intensive care unit and neonatal intensive care unit.
