The 28,000-square-foot suite at the academic medical center’s Sophia Gordon Cancer Center includes 10 exam rooms, four patient consult rooms, and dedicated patient and caregiver respite spaces .

The $48 million project will double the size of the ED to approximately 50,000 square feet, including dedicated space for behavioral health and pediatric care
