The site will generate up to 70 percent of the health system’s electricity needs in the state.

The project doubled the size of the emergency department to 40,000 square feet and added two trauma rooms and three ORs.

The new facility will include outpatient services on the first floor and a 24-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital on the second level.

The proposed plan would deliver a new 303-bed hospital and a 3,500-square-foot energy center.

Karl Stumpf will serve as office director and principal, and Allison Laudicina-Kahl is hired as interiors studio leader and associate principal.

The addition at Cleveland Clinic Akron General’s MOB include 18 exam rooms and two behavioral health rooms.
