The project consists of a 10-story building housing 450 private inpatient beds and a Level I trauma unit.

The project is a partnership with Lovelace Health System and the County of Valencia and will include medical, surgical, imaging, and emergency care services.

The behavioral health facility will include two 16-bed units for adults and children.

The project doubles the size of the hospital, adding a 36-bed medical/surgical unit, radiology suite, and pharmacy.

The hospital will add four stories to one tower and one story to another tower which will include 104 more patient beds, four surgical suites, and four operating rooms.

Conceptual plans for the hospital call for a single-story, 40,000-square-foot building with an ED, pharmacy, imaging suite, and 15-bed inpatient wing.

The facility includes an outpatient clinic and a 30-bed inpatient center for veterans who are homeless or need treatment for substance abuse or mental illness.
