Breaking Through Proposal Form

Thank you for participating in Healthcare Design’s Breaking Through competition. Please complete the proposal form below and submit your information by the March 8 deadline. Jurors will review all proposals, and results will be provided to participants on April 5.

Reminder: Your submission must be ANONYMOUS, meaning no company names or participants’ names may appear within this proposal. Proposals will be evaluated on the following:

  • Challenges/Solutions—Does the proposal clearly articulate challenges anticipated in the future delivery of healthcare and the solutions identified for solving the stated challenges?
  • Innovation—Does the concept present an obvious departure from traditional solutions used on healthcare projects today? Does the proposal identify an opportunity that’s not yet been explored in healthcare environments? Does the idea leverage burgeoning and future technologies/methodologies to push the industry forward?
  • Is the jury interested in seeing more? Are your ideas presented in a way that’s compelling and provocative?

  • Describe the project intent, solution identified, and how you plan to present a new way of thinking. You may include up to 300 words.
  • Outline the specific challenges anticipated in the future delivery of healthcare that your concept is addressing. Consider including descriptions of who is affected by this issue, why it exists or will emerge in healthcare environments, the limitations of traditional design solutions (if any exist), and why there’s a need to explore new opportunities. You may include up to 300 words.
  • Supply your contact information (for internal use only). This contact will receive the results and any feedback.
