Healthcare Design is pleased to announce the winners of its 2024 Product Innovation Awards. This annual program recognizes product manufacturers offering the most innovative and unique products used in the design of healthcare environments.
33 presentations were submitted for review and evaluated by a panel of 18 jurors, including architects, interior designers, providers, and consultants from HCD’s Editorial Advisory Board. Jury evaluation focused on innovation and contribution to the design of the healthcare environment – including enhanced safety, improved patient comfort, reduced installation/maintenance costs, environmental sustainability, and/or products that solve a specific challenge in a way that is innovative and valuable. They also considered aesthetics, style, and functionality. The highest scoring products in the jury review were selected as our winners.
This year’s three winners are:
GOLD: Boden Rocker (Pineapple Contracts)
SILVER: Acrovyn® Curved Door (Construction Specialties)
BRONZE: The Soul Collection (WIELAND Healthcare)
There were also four finalists that the jury felt contributed at a high level:
• LR-SDS-SS Ligature Resistant Sliding Door System with Emergency Swing (Accurate Lock & Hardware)
• MedMaster™ BHRT (Kenall Lighting)
• ElectraView™ One Zero™ (McGrory Glass)
• ONE-Rail Universal Equipment Rail (Paladin Healthcare)
