The State of Texas has started construction on the new Lubbock Psychiatric Center in Lubbock, Texas, according to click2houston.com.

The $121 million, 108,000-square-foot project will be operated by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission. It will house 50 beds and is expected to open in 2027.
