The 2025 Healthcare Design Conference + Expo will welcome Jay Van Bavel, professor of psychology and neural science at New York University (NYU), to the stage to deliver the opening keynote address on Sunday, Oct. 26.
During the keynote, “The Power of Us: Harnessing Our Shared Identities to Improve Performance, Increase Cooperation, and More,” Van Bavel will draw inspiration from the book “The Power of Us,” which he coauthored with Dominic Packer, a professor of psychology at Lehigh University (Bethlehem, Pa.).
His presentation will look at how collective concerns such as group identities, moral values, and political beliefs shape the mind, brain, and behavior.
