Healthcare delivery system Abrazo Health (Phoenix) is planning to open a new hospital this fall in Surprise, Ariz., according to an article in Surprise Independent.
The single-story Abrazo Surprise Hospital will offer emergency care and surgical services and include a 13-bed emergency department, an operating room, and eight inpatient rooms, as well as diagnostic imaging services.
The hospital will be integrated with sister facility Abrazo Arrowhead Campus (Glendale, Ariz.), Abrazo specialty and primary care doctors, and affiliated community physicians.
