AdventHealth Breaks Ground On Freestanding ED In Florida

AdventHealth (Altamonte Springs, Fla.) has broken ground on a freestanding emergency department (ED) in Port Orange, Fla., which will operate as a department of AdventHealth Daytona Beach (Daytona Beach, Fla.).

The 18,400-square-foot, 24-bed AdventHealth Port Orange Freestanding Emergency Department will include full imaging and laboratory services, a trauma room, bariatric room, and two dedicated pediatric-friendly rooms.

The project team includes HuntonBrady (architect; Orlando, Fla.) and Robins & Morton (construction; Orlando).
