AdventHealth (Altamonte Springs, Fla.) is investing $220 million to expand its AdventHealth Daytona Beach hospital in Daytona Beach, Fla., by more than 240,000 square feet.

HuntonBrady Architects (Orlando, Fla.) is designing the addition of four floors to an existing four-story tower and one floor to a separate tower.

The project will add 104 beds, four surgical suites, and four operating rooms. It will also expand the cardiovascular intensive care unit (ICU) dedicated neuro-ICU unit, and new laboratory department with additional CT and MRI imaging capabilities.

The project is expected to be completed in 2026, according to the Daytona Beach News-Journal.
