Adventist Health Sierra Vista Hospital Plans $220 Million Expansion In San Luis Obispo, California

The project is expected to begin in 2028 and includes an ED, trauma center, operating and procedure rooms, and labor and delivery and postpartum units.

Adventist Health (Roseville, Calif.) is planning a $220 million expansion of Adventist Health Sierra Vista Hospital in San Luis Obispo, Calif., according to keyt.com.

The hospital, which first opened in 1959, is adding an emergency department (ED) and trauma center, operating and procedure rooms to support expanded services, labor and delivery and postpartum units, and an intensive care unit (ICU).

Renovation of the existing inpatient rooms is also planned. Construction is expected to start in 2028.
