Ascension Saint Thomas (Nashville) and Lifepoint Rehabilitation (Louisville, Ky.,) are partnering on plans to build a new inpatient rehabilitation hospital as part of the new $148.5 million Ascension Saint Thomas Clarksville Health Campus in Clarksville, Tenn., according to a news release.

Pending state approval, the 96-bed facility will provide specialized care for adults recovering from debilitating conditions such as stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, neurological disorders, orthopedic trauma, and other complex diagnoses.

The project has selected a 96-acre site on the main hospital campus, plans for which were announced by Ascension earlier this year.
