Ascension Seton Medical Center in Austin, Texas, is planning a $320 million tower for women’s health services as part of a wider expansion of women’s healthcare services, according to an article in Austin Business Journal.

The 282,000-square-foot, eight-story facility will include 28 inpatient beds for women’s clinical services, private neonatal intensive care unit rooms, C-section suites, a dedicated OB-GYN emergency department, antepartum space, areas for minimally invasive gynecologic surgeries, and a teaching/learning center.

The project is scheduled to be completed by 2024.
