Aspirus Health Begins Construction On New Hospital And Clinic In Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin

The 35,000-square-foot facility will be completed in phases, with the first phase including an ED with 10 treatment rooms, 10 inpatient beds, and an on-site clinic.

Aspirus Health (Wausau, Wis.) held a groundbreaking ceremony to mark the start of construction on a new hospital and clinic in Chippewa Falls, Wis., according to a news release.

On a 22-acre site, the 35,000-square-foot facility will be completed in phases, with the first phase delivering an emergency department (ED) with 10 treatment rooms, and 10 inpatient beds. An on-site clinic will also offer 12 treatment rooms, as well as imaging, lab, and pharmacy services.

Construction is expected to be completed by fall 2026.
