Nonprofit health system Aspirus Health (Wausau, Wis.) is planning a $40 million renovation and expansion project at its Aspirus Merrill Hospital in Merrill, Wis.
Scheduled to begin this summer, the project will double the number of inpatient beds from 10 to 20. A complete reconstruction of inpatient rooms; enhancements to imaging, rehabilitation, laboratory, and pharmacy services; and updates to the main floor, stairwells, and offices are also planned.
