Nonprofit health system Aspirus Health (Wausau, Wis.) is planning a $30 million renovation and expansion at its Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital, in Laurium, Mich., according to the website uppermichiganssource.com.

The project will include modernizing the hospital’s infrastructure and inpatient rooms.

Additionally, the health system plans to transition its hospital in Ontonagon, Mich., into a rural health clinic with outpatient services.
