AtlantiCare (Egg Harbor, N.J.) and Select Medical (Mechanicsburg, Pa.) are collaborating on a new inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Galloway Township, N.J., that marked a construction milestone, according to njbizmagazine.
A ceremonial signing of a steel beam that will be placed in the structure marks the start of the next phase of development for the 3-story, 60-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital, set to open in 2026.
Services provided by the new hospital will include specialized care for patients recovering from stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, amputation, orthopedic trauma, neurological disorders, and other complex medical conditions.
