The New South Wales (NSW) Government has granted planning approval to replace Bankstown Hospital in Sydney, according to GlobalData.
The $1.4 billion project is set to expand patient capacity and include an emergency department, operating theaters, and intensive care unit. Additional services include maternity, inpatient mental health, ambulatory, and cancer care.
A multistory parking structure and dedicated emergency drop-off are also part of the project.
