Avera Behavioral Health Center To Expand In South Dakota

The $28 million, four-story wing will add more capacity for children and adolescents.

Regional health system Avera (Sioux Falls, S.D.) is planning to build a new four-story wing at the Avera Behavioral Health Center in Sioux Falls.

The $28 million project will include a 14-bed child unit and youth residential addiction care, a senior behavioral health unit, 24-hour psychiatric urgent care, and partial hospitalization space.
