Baker Barrios Architects (Nashville) has hired Michelle Merrick as director of institutional interiors to oversee interior design projects nationwide, including those in healthcare, according to a news release.
Merrick’s project experience includes the design of specialized healthcare spaces, including intensive care units, surgical centers, and micro-hospitals.
Baker Barrios’ current projects in the healthcare sector include an observational unit at the Morton Plant North Bay Hospital (New Port Richey, Fla.) and the Cancer Institute at Tampa General Hospital (Tampa, Fla.).
